Cadillac CTS Goes Concept
The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit is one of the most awaited car shows in the entire scope of the automotive industry. And this is the very reason why there are quite a number of show goers and car manufacturers who do bid their time through all other auto shows just so as to be able to take part in this grand display of the newest, the best, and the coolest cars ever to be created on the face of the planet.
According to attendees of the mentioned car show, one of the best things that they have ever come across the mentioned automotive event was one of the units under the Cadillac brand. This is the Cadillac CTS concept car that has been launched as a coupe. Now has got to be something really different for most of the car aficionados to take notice of it.
What the manufacturer behind this concept Cadillac CTS says is that they are not making any kind of promise with regards to the future of the unit. Although as per the rumors going around the auto industry, there are pieces of gossip saying that the Cadillac brand is actually preparing and prepping up to create a complete line up of CTS models and this CTS concept unit is just the tip of the iceberg. Speculations even have included the car maker creating coupes and station wagons. Sport utility vehicle and pickup truck versions have not been heard yet though.
On the other hand, the vice president of General Motors’ design team, Ed Welborn, has come to disclose that the Cadillac CTS concept vehicle actually should not have been created. However, with the creation of the Cadillac CTS sedan, the team had thought of creating a coupe and see if it was worth transferring from paper to real unit.
