Topless Audi RS4
After the long debate if it will come to US market or not, finally Audi decided to bring their topless car to the US market. This four – door, dour – seater convertible looks like a family car but is actually a sports car that is all sporty in performance yet is also ideal for long trips or relaxed cruising.
The Cabriolet has 4.2 V8 FSI engine producing 420 hp at 7,800 rpm and 317 ft-lbs. of torque at 5,500 rpm. That can speed up from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and tramples the quarter-mile in 13.3 seconds at a sweet 104.4 mph. This car is available with a six- speed manual and quattro(R) all-wheel drive. It will also have 19″ RS 4-style alloy wheels with 255/35/19 performance tires, a four-link front and trapezoidal- link rear sport-tuned suspension with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), and 14.4″ front and 12.8″ rear brake rotors. All of these are also present with the Audi RS4 Sedan.
The interior of the 2008 Audi RS4 Cabriolet comes with leather – upholstered sport seats which is comfortable and gives very good support. But its cabin is not very spacious once the top is use. The car is equipped with lots of standard equipments.
Being a convertible, its electro – hydraulic hood can automatically opens in 21 seconds making it possible to open and close the roof whether the car is running or not. Additional options are available but at no – cost some of these includes the navigation system, Bluetooth, Sirius Satellite Radio, Bose sound system, I Pod connectivity, bi – Xenon headlamps and a lot more.
2008 Audi RS4 Cabriolet is great it’s just that its expensive compared to other convertibles made by other car manufacturer. It is also heavier than the RS4 Sedan which limits car’s agility. Only 300 Audi RS4 Cabriolet will be in the market, just limited this could be for the reason that there are only few areas in the US where convetibles are suite like Miami where people can always enjoy their topless car.
