Mitsubishi To Show Off Prototype-S

There is quite a number of Mitsubishi followers. That would not be quite surprising for we know that the car maker is known for the quality of the vehicles that they produce. Although they may not have gone straight right up to the top like Toyota, what is important is that Mitsubishi maintains the quality and the performance that they give to each vehicle unit that they send out to the streets.

At present, news have it that Mitsubishi would be showing off one of their newest concept vehicles. Reports have said that the car manufacturer’s concept would actually be the hatchback version of their famous Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X car. If that would be the case, then there certainly would be quite a number of people going to the Geneva Auto Show this coming March for it is said that that would be the event when Mitsubishi would be showing off this concept.

Named the Prototype-S, this concept vehicle has come to show off the kind of style and design that the company’s recent set of concept units had also displayed. In fact, experts have said that the Mitsubishi RA coupe concept that was diesel powered and shown off at the currently concluded Detroit Auto Show has the same styles that we all could see at the Prototype S.

What makes the Prototype S run would be the inline four-cylinder engine that is intercooled and is turbocharged. This engine can create 177 kW and 343 Nm and that would be around the same amount of power that the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart currently has. If that would be the case then the Prototype S is not quite a bad deal. The Mitsubishi Prototype S also comes with an all wheel drive system which has become quite common in most of the company’s units.
