New Accord, All Set For Europe

A new Honda Accord is already ready in Honda’s stable. The previous model of the Accord has been revamped, refreshed and restyled so as to be able to have a completely new package on the day that it hits European car market soil.

Honda has made sure that the new Honda Accord in Europe would be able to take on the challenge that the D-segment contenders have already set. This vehicle now has an even sportier style and has gone through much refinements. Inside, you would find a number of systems to add to the safety of the passengers. Of course, Honda also made sure that the vehicle would be able to meet the Euro 5 emissions standards.

You would find the new Honda Accord to be wider than its previous model. The vehicle has also been lowered although you would not be able to notice it much for the change was only minimal. One of the main things you would notice though, aside from the widened sides, would be its wider track and its wheel’s arches which have been made to be more muscular compared to the units before. The sportier look has also been improved through a more distinct nose and the additional lines given to the vehicle.

Honda Accord’s consumers and followers have been given two new engine options. One would be an i-VTEC engine which measures 2.0 liters. The performance of this engine is said to be just like the previous one it replaced but the difference with this new one is that it is better at fuel economy. The other new engine is 2.4 liters and is far more powerful than the 2.0 liter unit.

For a better performance and a better drive, Honda gave the engines two transmission choices. One is a six speed manual while the other is a five speed automatic transmission.
