First 2008 Dodge Challenge SRT8 Under The Hammer
Who would have known? The very first production unit of the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 just went under the hammer. And I thought that when a new vehicle rolls off the production plant, these go directly to trucks to be delivered to dealerships. This just does not ring any truth to the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8.
The first unit of the vehicle model went straight under the hammer. With notMYkid, Dodge had set the vehicle for auction during the 37th year of the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction which was held in Arizona. And guess who won the vehicle? It was no other than the chairperson and head of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. Yes, it was Craig Jackson who took home the vehicle. For $400,000, the vehicle now belongs to Craig Jackson.
What does the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 have? For power, the vehicle gets it from a 6.1 liter V8 engine which is a HEMI. This beast is mated to a five speed automatic transmission which sincerely does a great job at making the vehicle zoom through high speeds. The design of the interior spells out “race” and “sport” and you would certainly not be mistaken that the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is really a Challenger for the exterior simply holds what a Challenger is all about.
Dodge and Chrysler made sure that the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 had the best features in it. They had their top engineers and mechanics work on the vehicle so as to assure a real good unit that was all about racing and yet was street legal. The vehicle has also been designed so as to have a really bold design for its exterior and still held the brand’s image. Sure enough, once you do take a ride behind the wheel of this vehicle, you would sincerely feel that it is world class.
