Renault-Nissan To Make Roads Greener

Just how do you think would the Renault-Nissan Alliance make Israel’s roads greener?

Well, in a news report, the alliance has come up with a solution - manufacture and bring electric vehicles to the country. Through this, they would be able to help the environment by lessening the number of vehicles on the roads that emit carbon dioxide which can be
pretty harmful to the Earth and to us.

The alliance had also announced that they would be doing such so as to be able to answer the challenge which has been set out by the Israeli government to the automotive industry. The government had been saying that the industry should be able to do something and set out a solution to the problem of pollution and make use of clean energy sources.

Together with Project Better Place, an organization in Israel, the Renault-Nissan Alliance would be working towards sending out electric vehicles in the Israeli car market. The alliance would be the ones responsible for the creation, design, and manufacture of the electric vehicles. The alliance had also informed the public that come 2011, these electric vehicles would already be available in the market and consumers would be able to purchase them.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance had listed down the benefits of using the electric vehicles which they would be selling in the mentioned car market. According to them, these vehicle units would be using purely electricity for all of its possible functions. And since all units would be relying on electricity, this means that the vehicles would not have any kind of emission. And this does not mean that the vehicles would be low in performance. The alliance has estimated that what they would be creating would be performing just like a car with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine would.
