Fitting The Honda Fit In New York

Japanese car maker Honda has recently announced their plans for the popular Honda Fit. According to the car maker, they are planning on sending out the all-new version of the Honda Fit at this year’s New York International Auto Show.

The Honda Fit has been created as a hatchback with five doors and it first came to the industry in 2001. Although it known as the Honda Fit in the markets in North America, South America, Japan, and China, the vehicle is known as the Honda Jazz in other markets like Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Australia.

As per the reasons behind the changing of the Honda Fit’s design, Honda America’s executive vice president had declared that they wanted to create something more from the success that the current Honda Fit has received. With the new Honda Fit, a consumer or an owner of the vehicle would be able to enjoy a great amount of space despite the fact that the vehicle is small. The new Honda Fit also comes with a versatile interior and has been made to be fuel efficient. Affordable is also another adjective that can be used to describe the vehicle.

So as to back up the statement that the Honda Fit has been one of the most popular vehicles in the United States market and as one of the vehicles which has gained much success, let us go through the list of accolades that the vehicle has received. Included in the list is being awarded as Japan’s Car of the Year for 2001 to 2002, and 2007 to 2008. it has also been named by Car and Driver magazine as one of the best small cars for 2007 and as one of the ten best vehicles for 2008. Top Gear Survey for 2006 gave the title Best Small Car to the Honda Fit.
