Come April this year, the all new 2009 Subaru Forester would already be available in Subaru dealerships and you could own one for as low as $19,995. If you compare this price to the previous version of the vehicle, you would notice that you would get to save $1,200. Now with such a price, you would be getting a vehicle that has been known to be functional, durable, and dependable. In short, many owners of the Subaru Forester have mentioned that the vehicle is a real good buy.
For the 2009 Subaru Forester, one would be able to find more interior space as well as find improvement in the comfort that it comes with. There are even more amenities that come with the vehicle and this was disclosed by the company’s vice president for sales, Tim Colbeck.
A 2.5 liter engine which has been designed to be naturally aspirated is available on the vehicle. This engine could be mated to a manual transmission or an automatic transmission. You would also have the option of having a 2.5-liter turbo engine installed in the vehicle instead of the former engine model. The turbo engine would only be available with an automatic tranny.
The 2009 Subaru Forester has been made to be safe so much so that the company put in side curtain airbags as part of the standard features. Now these airbags come with the rollover sensor. Also, the vehicle has been installed with the Vehicle Dynamics Control which is a system on stability control and traction control.
