Honda DN-01 Launched
Have you ever heard of the Honda DN-01? Well, just in case you still have not, this vehicle is a large sports cruiser manufactured by Honda Motor Company, Ltd. According to the Asian car maker, this vehicle would be available in the market come March 7th and it would be sold in Japan.
Honda had mentioned that the Honda DN-01 would be coming with unique features and that its body has been given low-styling. Power is sourced from a four stroke OHC V-twin engine with 680 cc and is liquid cooled. This engine is mated to the company’s newest automatic transmission which is the Human Friendly Transmission, or the HFT. The combination of the two auto parts gives the Honda DN-01 a better ride and you can do simple operations with the vehicle without having to use the clutch. The vehicle also gives its passengers and driver a sporty drive.
The HFT also works even better when matched with the company’s lockup-equipped variable hydraulic mechanical transmission. Working together, the driver gets a good response from the throttle. For the passengers, they would feel the ride to be totally relaxing and really luxurious. Drivers say that the Honda DN-01 is really easy to drive and it gives them the thrill that comes with driving a motorcycle.
For drivers, they would be able to find a totally relaxing ride for it measures only 690 mm in height. That height is just right for drivers and allows them to relax and be comfortable on the road. The passenger seats are also comfortable.
According to Honda, the Honda DN-01’s name comes from “Discovery of a New Concept” which is actually a phrase that the car maker used as part of their aim to create a motorcycle concept. This vehicle really looks mighty interesting, don’t you think?
