Toyota iQ Basics
During the Geneva International Motor Show which happened earlier this year, Japanese car maker Toyota Motor Corporation had unveiled yet a new vehicle that has yet to become a production vehicle. This vehicle is the Toyota iQ which is a concept vehicle at present and it comes as an urban car. That unveiling actually was the Toyota iQ’s first time to be presented to the auto industry and the Geneva International Motor Show became the venue for the world premiere of the vehicle.
According to Toyota, they have already decided to bring the Toyota iQ right into their production facilities so that they would be able to manufacture production units of the mentioned vehicle. The Toyota iQ would be starting its production late this year. The model that was unveiled at the Geneva International Auto Show is actually the production version which would soon his dealerships once more units are produced by the car maker.
Experts who have been able to take a look at the Toyota iQ have mentioned that this vehicle is quite radical when it comes to its design. However, they have also said that despite it being a radical one, it still comes with its own kind of sophistication. Measure the Toyota iQ and you would find out that it is only three meters long. Small as it may seem, it has already been tested and it was found out that three adult passengers could take a sit inside the vehicle and still feel comfortable. In fact, there is still space for a child or even a small amount of baggage.
Toyota has made sure that despite its size, the Toyota iQ would be coming with the capacity to take in quite a number of baggage or cargo. The company says that they have put in a design that makes the vehicle have much space. This feature includes the fuel tank to be designed to be flat and it is mounted underneath the floor.
