What do you find each time you go to an auto show? Well, for most, they would find the best and the coolest vehicles ever built. However, at present, the trends are changing and people are looking forward to seeing vehicles that use alternative fuel and power. Like at the Geneva International Auto Show where auto giant General Motors brought with them the GM HydroGen4 which is a vehicle that uses fuel cell technology developed by the company.
According to the car maker, the GM HydroGen4 is actually the Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell’s version in Europe. At present, it is still a concept vehicle however there are plans that this vehicle would soon be going right to production. After all, the Chevy Equinox has been a popular vehicle in the United States so it could be a good idea to bring the GM HydroGen4 to the market.
The company has also announced that the vehicle is currently already on the road with their Project Driveway where units of the GM HydroGen4 have been loaned to their customers. The customers would drive and they would then give them reactions on what they felt about the vehicle. This is not where the GM HydroGen4’s programs end. See, General Motors has also been working on creating 10 units of the GM HydroGen4 which they would be sending out to Europe this year.
Of course, it is very important that all companies try to take a look at what ordinary consumers actually do feel and think about the GM HydroGen4. See, a company could be sending out a vehicle which they think is best but the consumers may not like it. Feedback from consumers who have actually had experience with the vehicle would be the best way to go and to know if a vehicle such as the GM HydroGen4 would make it big in the market.
