The Awards That Are The Mazda CX-9’s
It is a full sized crossover sports utility vehicle and Mazda has called this unit to be a modern station wagon. Its name is the Mazda CX-9. In Mazda’s lineup, it took the place that used to belong to the Mazda MPV which was a minivan. This vehicle has been one of the most awarded vehicles as of present.
It took home the 2008 North American Truck of the Year award as well as the 2008 Motor Trend Sport/Utility of the Year award. And these two awards have been given to the Mazda CX-9 despite the fact that it has just been launched in the industry just this 2007. With that, of course, comes the recognition from the consumers that the Mazda CX-9 is a really good vehicle to own and use so much so that the awards that it has been given have translated to quite a good number of sales.
As of February this year, the Mazda CX-9 has been given other awards aside from the two that have been mentioned above. One of the awards that the Mazda CX-9 has taken home is the title Best New Family Vehicle and this was given by Kelley Blue Book. It also was recognized as the Best New Car for Large Families by Cars.com. The same internet site has given the award Family Car of the Year to the Mazda CX-9.
The Mazda CX-9 has also been inlucded in Automobile Magazine’s 2008 All Stars so just imagine how Mazda must be feeling right now. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine’s annual Car Buying Issue also named the Mazda CX-9 as the Best In Class for the large and mid-sized crossovers segment. Aside from that, Car and Driver magazine included the vehicle in its five best trucks list for this year.
