There had been a time that when you said “Volvo”, what would immediately get into the minds of people is “safety”. That is very much for this brand has made sure that they kept people safe when they were in their vehicles. However, what Volvo made up in safety, they lacked in design. Most Volvos were made to be safe yet not very stylish. Most looked plain and some were even boxy.
In recent times though, Volvo has made sure that they only do not send out vehicles that are safe but they also sent out vehicles that were safe and stylish. And one very good example of this is the 2008 Volvo C30.
So what is the 2008 Volvo C30? Well, the 2008 Volvo C30 is a compact hatchback and it comes with two doors. This ride can take in four passengers and it is said that this ride has gotten its design from the coupe Volvo 1800 ES which is yet a vintage ride from the brand. This ride is also the very first Volvo C30 that has been able to make its way to the US auto market.
According to Volvo, they made sure that the 2008 Volvo C30 was not only safe but also stylish because they are currently looking at the younger drivers as their consumers. They are also targeting those who would be buying a Volvo for the first time.
Just in case you did not know, Volvo, a company that is run under the Ford Motor Company, has used platforms from Ford vehicles so as to build the 2008 Volvo C30. So what platform is this? According to the car maker, they used the Ford C1 platform. Now this very platform is currently being used by the Ford Focus as well as the Mazda 3, which is from Mazda and yet another brand that Ford runs.
